3 Tips for a Cleaner Kitchen In Less Time
by Raina Raflo, Founder, Sponge & Sparkle – Atlanta House Cleaning Experts since 1981
According to the 2014 American Time Use Survey from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, we spend an average of 353 hours each year cleaning. The kitchen is usually where we spend the most cleaning time.
Here are 3 quick tips to reduce the time you spend cleaning your kitchen.
- Spray your food storage containers with non-stick cooking spray before pouring in tomato-based sauces. This will keep your containers stain-free – no more scrubbing!
- Throw your kitchen sponges in the dishwasher cutlery tray. They will stay in place there and come out bacteria free.
- Purchase inexpensive oven liners (I get mine at Kroger) so that you never need to use toxic oven cleaners.
