So you want to do your own “spring clean?”

Want to do your spring cleaning yourself? Get the kids involved. The easiest way to spring clean,  in my opinion,  is of course to hire Sponge & Sparkle!  However, if you decide to do it yourself,  here are some  useful pointers:

  • Simplify your cleaning products.  You don’t need a specific cleaner for each  task, and there are many great green cleaning products  available now.
  • Organize your supplies to save time. Have a caddy  with all your supplies in one easy to carry tray and be sure to include a long duster, lots of clean cloths, and a toilet brush.
  • Work with a purpose. Work like we do – top to bottom, left to right, no backtracking.
  • Add some fun!
    • Get the whole family involved and  look on this as an opportunity to bond and have some fun (yes I said fun), exercise  and get a lot accomplished in the process.
    • Music is a must!  It not only helps you work faster, it makes the time fly by.

Once your home is clean, be sure to take time and appreciate your accomplishments!
